Privacy Policy

Effective 1 November 2026 · Last updated 17 October 2026

CordOS is a guitar app for iPhone and Android made by Abdallah Zakaria ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because the app keeps things simple: no ads, no tracking, and nothing sold to anyone.

What we collect

What we do not collect

Where your data is stored

Account and saved data are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud) in the United States. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms and security standards. Data is encrypted in transit.

Using CordOS without an account

You can explore the app without an account. An account is used to save your gear, rigs and progressions and to keep them in sync. If a feature needs an account, the app will say so when you reach it.

Your choices

Children

CordOS is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the dates above. For material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
